We have signed the principles of gender empowerment promoted by the United Nations, contributing through our offer of financial and non-financial services to the economic and labor empowerment of women.
Two of our subsidiaries, Microempresas and CajaVecina, have the Empresa B certification, granted by the International B System, with CajaVecina being one of the companies with the highest international score.
Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes
We are part of the corporations that are analyzed by RobecoSAM through the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes. We have incorporated this measurement as a continuous and voluntary practice of BancoEstado with the purpose of integrating in our management those elements that are currently being valued by the markets.
ALLIANCE FOR THE FINANCING OF ENERGY EFFICIENT HOMES
We have an agreement with the German bank KFW that seeks through financing to raise energy efficiency standards in the supply of new homes that have energy certification above the Chilean standard.
TECHNICAL ALLIANCE FOR THE DESIGN AND EVALUATION OF GREEN FINANCING PRODUCTS
We have a collaboration agreement with the Ministry of Energy for the design of green financial products, as well as with the Chilean Energy Efficiency Agency, which technically evaluates the energy efficiency and NCRE projects to be financed in order to ensure their contribution to the environment.
AGREEMENT WITH THE Instituto de Previsión Social FOR THE PAYMENT OF PENSIONS
We are a pension payment channel for more than 197,000 people, offering beneficiaries modalities so that the payment of their pensions is faster and more expeditious thanks to our coverage and service network.
AGREEMENT WITH THE NATIONAL HEALTH FUND (FONASA) FOR THE ISSUANCE OF MEDICAL BONDS
We facilitate the payment of bonuses for medical benefits to more than 10 million users of public health insurance, allowing them to obtain their bonuses through the more than 25,000 CajaVecina points throughout Chile.
